Hope finds the open window
the break-crack-rift;
she drifts into
addicts and innocents
illegals and the illustrious
the homeless and insane.

She weaves around
to plant forgotten seeds
in assorted cultivars,
forgiveness-new job-new toy-good deed,
any variety she needs

for the pope and pedophiles
the CEO and the centerfold
the abuser and the bruised
to wake from
their nightmares
and rise again in the morning.

Author's note:

"Seeds" grew from my observations of hope: she doesn't discriminate, is nearly impossible to kill and self-seeds with and without our knowledge and assistance.
